Travellers of North Cork

I am a Traveller Community Health Worker with Travellers of North Cork. My role is to engage Travellers with the Health services that are relevant to them. I have a certificate in Community Leadership from UCC. I am currently completing a Diploma in Community Leadership in UCC. I have been a senior member of the Board of Management for Travellers of North Cork for a number of years. During my time on the Board, I served as Vice Chairperson whilst also chairing a number of sub committees that dealt with finances and employment. If nominated to the Housing SPC, I will continue to promote better understanding of the Traveller committee and work in solidarity with other marginalised groups who seek equal access and support in housing provision.
