🌟 A week full of opportunities to take action and get involved!
This week’s E-Bulletin highlights a range of upcoming events and initiatives supporting communities across Cork. From the Home Energy Upgrade Event taking place tomorrow, to ongoing Pop-Up Volunteer Centres, there are plenty of ways for members to learn, connect, and take practical steps on climate and community action.
We’re also shining a spotlight again on our upcoming Biodiversity Week launch event in partnership with the Irish Environmental Network, a hands-on day designed to help groups take meaningful action for nature in their own communities — a great opportunity to build skills and share ideas.
There are lots of ways to get involved across the PPN, with a wide range of voluntary vacancies now open, alongside continued opportunities to join Linkage Groups and contribute to local decision-making.
On the funding front, new calls such as the Community Safety Fund and ongoing CLÁR supports offer strong backing for community projects, while the Working with Nature Awards recognise and celebrate environmental action nationwide.
Finally, we’re sharing several important national consultations. As someone Hard of Hearing since birth, I’ll be sure to input into the new hearing care services consultation; and we have consultations on health policy, and sector training needs — all offering members a chance to help shape future supports and services.
Another active and opportunity-filled edition — with plenty of ways to participate, contribute, and support communities across Cork County.
