This fortnight’s E-Bulletin has a strong focus on participation and getting involved, with our new Linkage Group Workshop coming up in September. We’re inviting members to take part, help shape how the groups will work, and have a stronger voice in local policy and decision-making.
There’s also plenty happening around nature and biodiversity, including practical information on the new All-Ireland Pollinator Plan and upcoming Nature Network Ireland events. Members can also access free PPN Stakeholder Training, covering everything from local government and consultations to strategic planning and measuring impact.
We’re continuing to highlight opportunities to get involved in the PPN, with vacancies across our Secretariat, SPCs and LCDC, as well as opportunities to join our Linkage Groups.
Our #FundingFriday section is packed with supports, including funding for social inclusion, climate action, grassroots sport, migrant integration and built heritage, alongside a bursary opportunity for nonprofit leadership training.
Finally, there are several important consultations and surveys where members can have their say, covering disability policy, food waste, affordable housing in Cork, CAMHS, folic acid fortification, and wellbeing in Ireland.
