🌟 This week’s PPN E-Bulletin is packed with upcoming events, new opportunities to get involved, funding, consultations and training!
The big focus this week is the first meetings of our Linkage Groups, with three in-person evening meetings taking place on 13, 14 and 15 October.
There’s plenty happening in the community, including the Sustainable Sporting Summit happening tomorrow in Páirc Uà Chaoimh, a Power Up Your Mind talk in Charleville, National Public Libraries Open Day, HUGG’s Glengarriff walk and a creative writing competition from Wexford Pride. The newsletter also highlights the ongoing PPN Stakeholder Training, which is available online and self-paced for PPN workers, representatives, member groups, Secretariat members, local authority staff and elected councillors.

💰 #FundingFriday brings two opportunities this week: the Ireland Funds Heart of the Community Fund, supporting arts and culture organisations and community organisations with arts-based programmes, with applications closing 2 October, and the NTR Wind & Solar Farm Community Benefit Funds, supporting community projects and infrastructure, with applications open until 13 November.
📢Finally, there are opportunities to have your say, including the consultation on the proposed Carrigaline to Ringaskiddy cycleway. There’s also a UCD research survey for partners of people diagnosed with prostate cancer.
