Anti-Litter Challenge 2023

Cork County Council is pleased to announce the launch the 2023 Anti-Litter Challenge competition. The competition, which has been running for 23 years returns for the first time since 2019 due to Covid. The Anti-Litter Challenge rewards voluntary community groups who tackle litter in their localities and is a great way to build community spirit. In previous years over 110 towns and villages across the county have entered.

The annual Anti-Litter Challenge showcases the energy and dedication of the local communities in Cork County and is a prime example of what can be achieved by a partnership approach between the Council and the Community. The objectives of the competition are to reduce litter pollution in the county as a whole and to encourage community solutions to litter pollution.
