Census 2022 Profile 6: Homelessness

The Central Statistics Office has today (23 May 2024) published Census 2022 Profile 6: Homelessness – https://www.cso.ie/en/releasesandpublications/ep/p-cpp6/censusofpopulation2022profile6-homelessness/

Profile 6 details the number of people who spent Census Night either in accommodation designated for homeless people or sleeping rough. The report provides information on the numbers of males and females who were homeless, their ages, as well as their family status.

This profile shows that over 10,300 people were counted as Homeless in Census 2022.
