Normally, we have a guest speaker once a month, meeting in the function room in An Caipín Bar.
We have produced four volumes of ‘Coppeen – A Glimpse of the Past’ an ongoing series of local heritage journals.
We have developed ‘Coppeen Waymarked Walks‘ a series of four themed loop walks taking in some breath-taking scenery. Park in Coppeen village & enjoy our fresh air, hospitality & scenic routes.
We have developed ‘The Coppeen Heritage Trail’, a map which invites & directs tourists & visitors on how to find us & discover for themselves the rich tapestry of heritage sites all around our area. We have numerous examples of ringforts, stone circles, megalithic tombs, galáns, fulachta fiadh, souterrains, anomalous stone groups, stone rows, stone pairs, rock art, boulder burials, early ecclesiastical remains, fonts & burial grounds.
