A bumper edition packed with chock-full of funding, community news, and inspiring local action!
This week’s E-Bulletin is bursting with opportunities, events, and celebrations from across the Cork County PPN network. A major highlight is this Sunday’s National Biodiversity Week launch event, bringing together expert speakers, community groups, and citizen scientists for a hands-on day focused on taking action for nature locally.

We’re also sharing fantastic updates from member groups — from creative community projects and biodiversity initiatives to cultural celebrations, wellbeing events, and local job opportunities. It’s another great reminder of the incredible work happening right across the county.

There are plenty of ways to get involved within the PPN too, with ongoing calls for members to join Linkage Groups, fill voluntary vacancies, and support PPN representation across Cork.

On the funding front, this may be one of our biggest #FundingFriday sections yet! This edition features a huge range of supports for equality and inclusion projects, youth wellbeing initiatives, sustainability and biodiversity work, creative enterprises, childcare expansion, rural development, and community safety programmes.

We’re also highlighting important national consultations and surveys, giving community groups opportunities to influence policy on banking access, hearing care services, and more.

And finally, a special shoutout to our dedicated PPN representatives and Secretariat members, whose commitment and hard work behind the scenes continue to strengthen community participation across the county.

Another lively and inspiring edition — full of ways to connect, participate, and celebrate the strength of community action across Cork County!
