Another bumper edition packed with community news, events, and opportunities to get involved!
This fortnight’s E-Bulletin celebrates the strength and diversity of community life across Cork County. We’re looking back at a fantastic Cork Indian Summer Fest, where the PPN was honoured to receive a community award, and sharing details of a range of upcoming events focused on wellbeing, inclusion, sport, and human rights.
We’re also highlighting valuable learning opportunities, including dementia awareness training, reflective practice courses, and new AI guidance for community and voluntary groups, helping organisations build skills and prepare for emerging opportunities.
There are plenty of ways to get involved within the PPN, with ongoing calls for members to join our Secretariat, SPCs, LCDC, and Linkage Groups, ensuring community voices continue to shape local decision-making across Cork County.
This edition also features another strong #FundingFriday, with funding opportunities supporting children and families, community organisations, and good governance initiatives.
Finally, we’re highlighting several important public consultations, including opportunities to have your say on affordable housing in Cork County, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and the proposed mandatory fortification of flour with folic acid.
Another opportunity-filled edition—packed with ways to connect, learn, participate, and strengthen communities across Cork County!
