Cork Volunteer Centre Leads Initiative to Showcase Ireland’s Nationwide Volunteer Network

Cork Volunteer Centre has launched the National Volunteer Network Awareness Campaign, a new initiative designed to highlight the strength and reach of Ireland’s volunteer network.
The campaign highlights the strong, interconnected network of Volunteer Centres across Ireland, ensuring that no matter where volunteers go, they are always close to a centre that can support and connect them with meaningful opportunities.
The campaign, running in two phases from March to May 2025 aims to celebrate the
collaborative spirit of Volunteer Centres, encourage volunteer engagement, and ensure all communities remain supported through volunteering.

Key Campaign Phases:
Phase 1 (From March 28th): Digital & print campaign
● 1.1: 28/03 – 3/04 – Volunteering. Anywhere In Ireland
● 1.2 : 4/04 – 10/04 – New Place, Same Passion – Your Local Volunteer Centre Awaits
● 1.3: 11/04 – 18/04 – Linking Volunteers, Centres, and Communities

Phase 2 (From April 25th): Video storytelling—
● Sharing real-life experiences of volunteers who have continued their volunteer work
after relocating.

“We are proud to develop and launch this campaign, as it showcases how Volunteer Centres connect potential volunteers with community organisations, opening the doors for volunteers to engage and share their experience with communities all across the country. “ said Adam Lacey, Manager at Cork Volunteer Centre.

Volunteer Centres, local organisations, and community members are encouraged to get involved by sharing campaign materials on social media using the hashtag #VoluntÉire, displaying posters in community spaces, and amplifying volunteer stories.
