STATEMENT FROM MINISTER CARROLL MACNEILL ON THE PASSING OF HIQA BOARD CHAIR PROFESSOR PAT O’MAHONY

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Prof Pat O’Mahony. A true gentleman, Pat consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to public service. My deepest sympathies to his family, to all Pat’s colleagues and friends in HIQA, and across the wider health and social care community. May he rest in peace.
